The Tallinn – St Petersburg – Moscow route is served by the Baltic Express (#034), which completes the daily 964 km trip in between 14 and 16 hours overnight. In both directions, the daytime portion of the journey is mostly in Estonia.
The Baltic Express offers 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Class sleeping cars, as well as an Economy seated car. The train does not have a dining car.
Note that passport control will be handled on board the train as it crosses the border. Remember that e-visas cannot be used to enter or exit Russia by rail!
