The 1788 km journey from Moscow to Berlin is one of the most popular international routes on the Russian railways. Crossing four countries, including Belarus (requiring a transit visa) the train takes 23 hours. For those wanting a true Trans-Russian rail experience, this route can be combined with the Trans-Siberian from Vladivostok for an 11000 km journey crossing all of Russia.
