Trains from Russia to Ukraine and several other CIS countries are to be cancelled

Starting from December 14, 2014 Federal Passenger Company, a unit of Russian Railways, will cancel passenger trains to Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan and Ukraine due to low profitability of these routes. Russian Railways representative stated that although the schedule for 2015 is already fixed, extra trains may still be added later in case demand increases.
