Travellers from Switzeland will cycle through whole Russia to China. Within 80 days, 25 people will cover 7.8 thousands kilometers. They will make stops in several cities, as was announced by the news agency of the Federal Agency of Tourism.
The cycle tour will start on 12th of June on the Russia Day, from the culture and recreation complex "Kremlin in Izmailovo", and will finish on 28th of August in Beijing on the Tiananman square. On the way, the cyclist will stop over in Ufa, Omsk, Novosibirsk, Irkutsk and Lake Baikal.
The participants of the trip has noted that this journey will become a real challange for them, because the part of it will go through the desert and unpopulated areas and through the mountainous areas. This would be the longest and the most extreme route for them to participate.
Through out the whole journey, tourists will be followed by the bus with sleeping spaces and recreation areas and with two mobile repair shops.
