On 28th of August, the 68th summer season of Small October Railway (SOR) has been completed.

The festive event has been opened by the head of the SOR Vladimir Chilikin. He has congratulated people with the closure of the summer season, and has noted that the railway has been working perfectly this year; 37 thousands passengers were transported during this period.

 

During the celebratory assambly, Vladimir Chilikin has complimented the winners of the contest of the "The best by the profession". The participants, who were granted the medal place, have received diplomas, certificates and gifts. The recently graduated, young railmen have also received special attention. Approximately 80 people have received graduation diplomas this year.

The celebration has been completed with the departure of the train "Fairy tale" from the Molodejnaya station to the station Tsarskoselskaya of the SOR.

 

During 2016t summer season, 1400 young rail workers have completed their summer practice on the railways of the SOR.
