"The Ski Arrow" train to connect Rostov-on-Don and the Ski Resort "Rosa Khutor"

During the New Year Holidays, the OJSC "RZD" offers to the passengers the special project "The Ski Arrow" train. The train № 17/18 from Rostov-on-Don to Rosa Khutor will be operating during the New Year and Christmas holidays. The passengers will be able to carry the sports equipment with them for free (the skis, snowboards). In addition, the train passangers will be able to purchase a ski-passes for the Rosa Khutor from the train attendants. It is worth to mention that the cost of the ski-pass purchased on board will be equal to the cost of the pass at the ski resort.

"The Ski Arrow" will be departing from the station Rostov-Glavniy at 21:26, starting from 29th of December, and also from 1st to 7th of January 2019) and will be arriving at the Rosa Khutor at 08:01 on the next day with stopovers along the route at Krasnodar, Tuapse, and Adler. The total trip duration will be 10 hours 35 minutes.

The return journey of the train is scheduled from the station Rosa Khutor at 21:26 (on 29th of December 2018, and also from 2nd till 8th of January) with arrival to Rostov on the next day. The return trip duration will be 11 hours 59 minutes. The train will stop at Krasnodar, Tuapse, Sochi, and Adler.

The train will be formed from the 2nd and 3rd class carriages, equipped with airconditioning and bio-toilettes. The train formation includes compartments for people with disabilities and the extra room for the skiing and snowboarding inventory. During the ride, passangers are able to purchase tea, coffee, snacks, and souvenirs.
