Finland - Russia

There are several trains operating on the Russia to Finland route. You can start your trip in Moscow and travel overnight on the Lev Tolstoy train or you can travel in the daytime on one of the Allegro trains – these trains are available both on the Moscow to Helsinki and St. Petersburg to Helsinki routes. The Allegro train offers a very quick and pleasant trip from Russia to Finland.

Lev Tolstoy

The Lev Tolstoy train is an overnight train running between Moscow and Helsinki with a stop in Saint Petersburg. The train covers 1082 km in 14-15 hours; it travels between Moscow and St. Petersburg overnight and then runs through Finland during the daytime.
The train has VIP 1st, Regular 1st and 2nd class cabins.

The high-speed train Allegro is a fast and comfortable way of travelling between Helsinki and St. Petersburg. The train consists of 7 carriages and has a maximum operating speed of 220 km/h.
